Jane Tunesi

Jane Tunesi is an Officer of The Heraldry Society. One of her roles is being the Editor of the 20pp member quarterly newsletter The Heraldry Gazette.  She is also the Hon. Librarian for the Society and Bookshop Manager as well as assisting John Tunesi with the Society Biennial Congresses. Senior Lecturer Jane Tunesi has been recognised by the Federation of Family History Societies for her Editing of Hertfordshire People, the 48pp quarterly journal of the Hertfordshire Family History Society –www.hertsfhs.org.uk Jane entered the journal into the FFHS Elizabeth Simpson Award for the best genealogical journal and was delighted to learn that she had been judged the winner in the Medium Category for 2015 –http://www.ffhs.org.uk/events/journal/current.php

Jane has over thirty years’ experience in the genealogical and heraldic fields, both in tracing her own family and studying to gain professional qualifications in genealogy from the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies in Canterbury, Kent, England (www.ihgs.ac.uk). After completing the Correspondence Course, and passing the Part II (Intermediate) Certificate in Genealogy (1990), Jane progressed to the Record Agent qualification (1997) and is now a graduate member of the Institute, holding the Diploma in Genealogy (2003).
